Sweetcorn with Maple Syrup and Chilli
Preparation time 5 minutes
Cooking time 15 minutes
Can be vegan*
4 whole fresh sweetcorn
A little honey or maple syrup*
Salt and pepper
Butter or olive oil*
1. Place the sweetcorn into a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain. This will speed up the cooking process and help prevent the sweetcorn drying out.
2. Place directly onto your barbeque grill. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, turning from time to time.
3. Mix the honey or syrup* and chilli sauce together, then season. Brush each cob with the mixture and cook for a few more minutes.

Cooks tip: if you have corn still in the husk place them into a pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain, and then put onto the grill for approximately 15 minutes. Peel away the husk and brush each cob with the chilli and honey or syrup* mixture and cook for a few more minutes.
