Sweet and Sticky Glaze
Barbecue Recipe

Use this glaze to jazz up your favourite shop bought vegan burgers and sausages.

Preparation notes

Makes enough to glaze 4 burgers or 1 pack of sausages
Preparation time 5 minutes


5 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp smoky chilli sauce
1 tsp dried mixed herbs

You could also add curry paste, hot chilli sauce, lime juice, or whatever you fancy!

1. Mix all of the ingredients together to create the baste.
2. Gently cook the various vegan sausages, burgers, etc, according to packet instructions. Just as they start to cook brush them with the baste.
